These are from 2007, as I was leaving Consulate to go freelance.  I can almost say with 100% certainty that i will NEVER assist an editor again.  Those days are over.  I did my time as an assistant and put in the ridiculous hours and took the abuse, blah blah blah.  I also learned a hell of a lot.  But I’m not ready to be someone’s bitch again.
