Thing 300
Belly band-turned-arm brace.
*catching up on 3/20/13*
First off, wow, I’m at 300.. I’m so proud that I stuck through this. I don’t really have words this morning, mostly because I’m a bit scatterbrained at the moment, and preoccupied with work thoughts and life anxiety.
Deana used this while pregnant with Lucinda. Fast forward a few months and a broken clavicle later, and I’ve taken it for my own, mainly using it as an arm brace while shooting hand held video. I think I’ve healed to the point where I don’t need it anymore, so I’m passing it on to someone preggers.

I’ve had this bag for at least 15 years. I used to keep film (yes, actual film) equipment in it when I was shooting. Mostly for tape and gels and smaller things. After we had Anabelle, I started storing baby things inside. For the last 3 years this bag has been in my parent’s attic full of pack n play accessories. We are now using the pack n play for Lucinda, but the accessories were moldy, as was this bag. No way I’m keeping a moldy bag around.
Thing 298
Bag of refrigerator magnets.
Sometimes the fridge gets a bit too messy. Â Sometimes I don’t want to look at these old magnets anymore. Â Magnets come and go, so I’m sure we won’t suffer for places to put Lucinda’s future artwork or the occasional coupon or rent check. Â We make notes on a dry-erase board that we keep on the fridge, so I’m not worried about note posting.

Ring sling by Maya Wrap
This was my favorite carrier when Anabelle was small. Â We didn’t have the opportunity to use this with Lucinda because she was working through shoulder dystocia and we couldn’t carry her in slings or wraps for the first 16 weeks. Â And now she’s a little to big for this I think. Â So we’re going to pass it along to a family that can really get some use from the sling.
