Thing 245
Refridgerator magnet.
**catching up on 2/23/13**
Wow, I can’t believe how long it has taken me to get back into doing this. Â But when you have two children and then fracture your clavicle you have a good opportunity for making excuses. Â So I apologize to anyone following this project and I apologize to myself for not having discipline.
Anyway, not much to say about this Thing. Â It’s a fridge magnet. Â We have lots of them. Â It wasn’t holding up anything. Â And it’s a nice way to ease back into the project.
Thing 243
Plastic medicine dropper.
*Catching up on 1/29/13*
Once I had children I became inundated with these.  At first they were exclusively for delivering medicine, but then they became useful for dispensing essential oils into the receptacle of the humidifier.  I’ve had this one in a box for at least 3 years and just found it while looking for other things to get rid of.  It still works, so if you need a dropper, let me know…
Thing 242
Casio W-520U WorldTime watch.
*Catching up on 1/28/13*
This mofo was first released in 1988 with a sale price of $39.95. Â Check the specs out here. Â I looked up this watch and people are getting between $100-$200 on Ebay, so I’m either going that route or maybe I’ll try Craigslist.
I actually thought about this watch the other night, completely out of the blue. Â I think I had one of those “hey, if I find my old-skool Casio and put a new battery in it and wear it, I’ll look cool” moments. Â Then I realized how ridiculous and annoying that sounded and that I’d come off as some annoying hipster. Â I immediately jettisoned the thought and went back to changing diapers or something.
