Thing 228
Spare parts for children’s play kitchen.
*Catching up on 1/7/13*
On 12/26 I was sitting in our car from 11:30am until 11:00pm in one of the top three most horrendous drives I’ve ever had. Â The girls and I were heading to Maryland from Ellenville, and we hit rain, traffic and all hell in between. Â Lucinda kept loosing her cool, and how could you blame her, it was a fucking mess out there. Â If I have my way, I’ll never again travel on the day after Christmas. Â Ever.
This is another set of spare parts that came with the play kitchen described in Thing 227. Â I know I’ll need one of these the instant I get rid of this pack. Â Oh well.
Thing 227
Screws and parts for children’s play kitchen.
*Catching up on 1/7/13*
Merry Christmas y’all.
I’m writing this post on 1/7/13, because on the 25th I was at my parent’s home in Ellenville celebrating Hanukkah on Christmas while eating food appropriate for Thanksgiving. Â My aunt and uncle always host Hanukkah celebrations, and we usually gather on Christmas because nobody has work that day. Â My cousins are there and it’s a present fest. Â The past few years we’ve introduced Bingo, which has been awesome. Â This year my cousin Hunter was in Miami, so he played via Facetime on Carin’s iPad. Â I can’t believe I just wrote that last sentence.
Nothing special to say about these spare parts. Â They belong to Anabelle’s (and soon-to-be Lucinda’s) play kitchen. Â When I put together the unit I was missing a screw, but instead of just sending the one, they had to send an entire set because that’s how they package the screws. Â What a waste. Â We received the kitchen about 4 years ago, and I’ve had these in my toolbox ever since. Â I’m sure the moment I get rid of them I’ll need every one of these screws.
