For those thinking “what? they are just empty jars, those don’t count!”, well, not entirely.
I’ve had these for about 2 years and have used them for mixing paint, washing brushes, etc. Â So I look at them as accessories.
Regardless, I’m going to clean and put them into the recycle bin. Â We eat so much almond butter in this house that I’ll be able to find another jar sometime soon (if need be).

Okay, listen. Â This stuff isn’t that easy to give away. Â I’ve been a Jets fan since I was 10, if not younger. Â I’ve watched them loose more games than I’d like to remember. Â But I still live and die with them every season.

Yes, another piece of Jets memorabilia comes and goes. I thought about keeping this, seeing that this is an honor year for (newly inducted) Hall of Fame running back Curtis Martin, but no. I’m passing it on to my good friend and longtime home game Jets attendee partner Chris Casal. He’s got plans for a Jets shrine in his (soon to be built) man cave, so I’ll use my visits to see him as an opportunity to visit this piece of Jets history.Â
That said, J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!

Siena basketball winter hat.
If you know me, you know that I’m not a really big basketball fan.  I’m even less a fan of college basketball.  And don’t get me started on high school ball.  The only basketball I remotely enjoy is what happens on an  outdoor court with an angry crowd watching and a radio playing in the corner.  Anyway, I got this hat as a promotional give away last year and I don’t think it needs to be part of this winter’s clothing.
**Note** I just realized that the thing numbers for the first nine days of August matched up with the date (Thing 83 on 8/3). Â Pretty neato.
